- 1850  The following is a list of the names of the Town Reeves and Deputy Town Reeves, from several Townships composing the County Council.
- 1945  (1950)  In Ontario and Quebec the county councils are not elected directly and the system therefore requires a brief explanation. The county councils in Ontario are made up of reeves and, in most cases, deputy reeves who have already been elected to serve on the councils of towns, villages and townships which make up the county.
